Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Deputy Manager to join a luxury, purpose-built elderly care home in Chelmsford. This role offers the chance to work alongside an experienced General Manager within a high-end setting, supporting the delivery of exceptional person-centred care while leading and developing a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving quality, compliance, operational performance and resident satisfaction for a provider committed to delivering outstanding standards of care. Key Responsibilities • Support the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the home. • Support occupancy, customer experience and commercial performance. • Lead, motivate and develop department heads and wider care teams. • Ensure exceptional, person-centred care is delivered at all times. • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards. • Build positive relationships with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals. • Assist with budget management, rota planning and resource allocation. • Drive continuous improvement through coaching, supervision and performance management. About You • Previous experience in a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or senior management role within elderly care. • Nurse with current NMC preferred but not essential. • Strong leadership and people management skills. • Sound understanding of CQC regulations and quality governance. • Commercially aware with excellent organisational skills. • Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and developing others.
