DT Teacher – Full Time Long-Term Position
Cambridgeshire | September Start | £150 - £250 per day
REED Education are proud to be working in partnership with a Good-rated secondary school in Cambridgeshire to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Design Technology (DT) Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September.

The Role
As a DT Teacher, you will:
• Deliver engaging and practical Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Inspire students to develop their creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that challenge and motivate learners
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Ensure a safe and productive workshop/classroom environment
• Contribute positively to the wider school community and departmental development
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for candidates who:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Design Technology within a secondary school setting
• Have knowledge of one or more DT specialisms, such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics, or Food Technology
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
• Are passionate about inspiring young people and raising attainment
