Desk-Aligned Engineer Commodities- Market-Leading Global Hedge Fund

Now looking to expand their Commodities team with a desk-aligned engineer, this role offers the opportunity to: • Partner with trading, research and data teams to develop core analytics and deliver key initiatives • Understand business challenges and drive technical/quantitative solutions • Work with large datasets and build data analytics trading tools • Integrate data and insights into models and investment processes You'll be expected to be a self-starter who demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, execution and the ability to work in a hands-on collaborative environment. Requirements: • Excellent technology skills. Fluent in Python or comparable language.
