Development Solicitor

Description The Development Solicitor will be: • Advising major national and regional house builders, landowners and affordable housing providers. • Managing a broad range of residential development transactions from instruction through to completion. • Drafting and negotiating conditional contracts, transfers and option agreements. • Advising clients on rights of pre emption, collaboration agreements and development agreements. • Supporting high value residential development and investment projects. • Building and maintaining strong long term client relationships. • Assisting senior colleagues on complex and strategically important matters. • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and wider team members. • Delivering commercially focused legal advice to an exceptional client base. • Contributing to the continued growth and success of the residential development team. Profile The Development Solicitor should be: • A solicitor with approximately 2 to 6 years PQE. • Experienced in residential development, commercial property or real estate work. • Confident managing transactions with appropriate supervision. • Skilled at drafting and negotiating complex property documentation. • Commercially aware with strong client relationship management skills. • A proactive team player with excellent communication skills. • Keen to develop a long term career within a leading international law firm. • Passionate about delivering exceptional client service.
