Digital Delivery Manager (Data and AI Projects)

Job Title: Digital Delivery Manager (Data and AI Projects) Location: London, Glasgow, or Cardiff (1 day on-site per week) About the Role / Job Summary: Ofgem is currently seeking an SC cleared Digital Delivery Manager to oversee Data and AI projects. This role offers a day rate of £650 Inside IR35 and requires one day on-site in either London, Glasgow, or Cardiff. A current active SC clearance is mandatory for this position. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver data and AI projects from discovery to live service, ensuring alignment with user needs and strategic goals. • Manage teams in accordance with the Delivery Excellence Framework. • Maintain delivery momentum through risk management and cross-team coordination. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing meaningful updates and acting on feedback. • Coach and mentor team members on agile and DevOps methodologies. Qualifications: • Proven experience in delivering Data and/or AI focused projects. • Strong leadership skills to build and maintain motivated teams. • Ability to shape effective project delivery plans with clear outcomes and timelines. • Proficient in identifying and overcoming obstacles in project delivery. Education Requirements: • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field. • Active SC clearance is essential. Experience Requirements: • Experience managing small-to-medium sized digital projects. • Familiarity with government service standards. • Experience in coaching teams in agile and DevOps practices.
