Job description

A leading professional services firm is looking to appoint a Director to help build and grow its newly established Economic Advisory practice, with a particular focus on the Energy, Power & Utilities sector. This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in shaping a high-growth advisory offering. Working with energy companies, investors, regulators and government stakeholders, you will advise on some of the most complex and commercially significant challenges facing the sector today. Key Responsibilities Lead economic advisory engagements across the energy and utilities market. Advise clients on regulatory, competition, market design and strategic issues. Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across industry, government and regulatory bodies. Drive business development and contribute to the growth of the practice. Provide technical leadership and oversight across complex projects. Mentor and develop junior team members. Support the development of the team's market profile and thought leadership. About You Significant experience within economic consulting, advisory, regulation, government or industry. Strong expertise in regulatory economics, competition economics, market design, valuation or quantitative analysis. Deep understanding of the Energy, Power & Utilities sector. Proven track record delivering high-profile advisory projects and managing senior client relationships. Strong commercial instincts with the ability to identify and win new business.
