• Cleaning of floor areas as scheduled by means of vacuuming, mopping, buffing and spray cleaning. • Undertake deep cleans in areas where infection is present. • Removal of rubbish including domestic and clinical waste from designated areas to disposal point. • Cleaning of sanitary areas, toilet, sinks, shower cubicles and staff changing areas. • Damp dusting of all surfaces, ledges, shelves, curtain rails. • Cleaning of internal glass. • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all work areas. • Carry out any urgent spot cleaning and spillage. • Participate in training programmes relevant to efficiency, fire drills, hygiene, the requirements of the health and safety at Work regulations and other courses as deemed necessary for the efficient working of the department. • Any other duties as deemed appropriate.
