Driver & Loader – Waste Collections & Clearances • Location: HP23 • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent • Salary: £28,600 per annum Join a leading name in waste and recycling. Are you someone who enjoys working independently, being on the road, and staying active? We are looking for a Driver & Loader to join our growing team. You will be equipped with a modern company van, which you can take home, along with all necessary tools including a fuel card, PPE, mobile phone, and equipment to perform your duties safely and professionally. Day-to-day of the role: • Deliver outstanding customer service on every job. • Drive, maintain, and keep your vehicle clean and presentable. • Lift and load various waste streams into company vehicles. • Use a handheld PDA to receive jobs and complete digital worksheets. • Communicate clearly with the office team and provide accurate updates. • Complete daily vehicle walk-around checks and report any defects promptly. • You will receive comprehensive in-house training and ongoing support to ensure your success in the role. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Valid UK driving licence with no major endorsements. • Good communication skills and a positive attitude. • Reliable and self-motivated, comfortable with physical work. • Must have a safe place to park the company vehicle overnight. • Previous driving or waste industry experience is preferred but not essential. The right attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
