Duty Manager

Located in the heart of Bath, this award-winning hotel is entering an exciting new chapter, with a major expansion underway. DAY TO DAY As Duty Manager, you'll be a visible leader, working alongside the reception, housekeeping, and future restaurant teams to ensure every guest enjoys an outstanding experience from arrival through to departure. You'll be responsible for: • Leading the hotel operation during your shift. • Supporting and supervising reception, restaurant and housekeeping teams. • Working on reception and assisting with food and beverage service when required. • Delivering exceptional customer service and leading by example. • Handling guest queries and resolving issues with professionalism and care. • Maintaining the highest presentation standards throughout the hotel. • Coordinating communication across departments to ensure smooth daily operations. • Coaching, motivating and developing team members. • Assisting with the training and onboarding of new colleagues. • Ensuring health, safety and operational procedures are consistently followed. WHAT WE'D LOVE TO SEE • Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Supervisor or similar leadership role within a quality hotel. • A genuine passion for boutique hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences. • A confident, hands-on leader who enjoys supporting and developing others. • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities. • A positive, professional and guest-focused approach. • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
