Early Years Educator Full-time Primary School Location: Hampstead Start Date: September 2026 Qualification Required: Level 3 or Level 4 EYFS A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic Early Years Educator to join a small, welcoming one-form entry primary school in the Hampstead Heath area. The Role As an Early Years Educator, you will be based in the Nursery class of 15 children, working closely with the class teacher to support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. You will play a key role in: • Supporting the delivery of high-quality, creative, and stimulating learning experiences • Encouraging children’s curiosity, independence, and love of learning through play-based activities • Promoting positive behaviour, inclusion, and social development within a nurturing environment • Observing and assessing children’s progress, contributing to regular reporting and planning discussions • Assisting with day-to-day classroom routines and ensuring the learning environment remains safe, welcoming, and inspiring The Ideal Candidate Will Have • A Level 3 qualification • Early Years key-worker experience including assessment and planning • An energetic and positive approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues • Creativity and confidence in delivering fun, interactive, and engaging learning activities • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to contribute positively to a supportive team The School This creative and community focused primary school is located in the heart of Hampstead. Led by a committed leadership team, the school is rated “good” by Ofsted and is known for its nurturing ethos, inclusive culture, and strong pastoral care. Within the EYFS, there is a strong emphasis on play-based and discovery learning, encouraging children to explore, create, and develop key early skills in a stimulating, well-resourced environment.
