Job description

Early Years Teaching Assistant Are you passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their educational journey? Veritas Education is currently recruiting Early Years Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming and supportive primary schools from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have experience working with young children and are looking for a rewarding full-time role within an Early Years setting. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing within Nursery and Reception classrooms. Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you will help create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting children with learning through play and structured activities • Assisting with phonics, early literacy, numeracy and communication development • Providing small group and 1:1 support where required • Encouraging children's social, emotional and physical development • Helping to create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment • Supporting children with additional needs and adapting activities where necessary • Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues What We're Looking For • Previous experience working with children in an Early Years setting • A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach • Good understanding of the EYFS framework • Strong communication and teamwork skills • The ability to engage and inspire young learners • Relevant childcare or education qualifications are desirable but not essential Apply Today If you are an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity this September, we'd love to hear from you.
