Educational Support Practitioner | Castle Point Location: Castle Point, Essex Contract: Permanent Start Date: September 2026 Salary: £19,000-£23,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Are you passionate about helping children reach their full potential? Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a positive impact every day? A welcoming and inclusive school in Castle Point is looking to appoint an Educational Support Practitioner to join their team from September. This permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with pupils and supporting them both inside and outside the classroom. You'll work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to help create an engaging learning environment where every child is encouraged to succeed, whatever their starting point. The Role As an Educational Support Practitioner, you will: • Provide classroom support across a range of learning activities * Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions where required * Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and participation in lessons * Support children with varying learning needs, including SEND where appropriate * Help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment * Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support pupil progress The Ideal Candidate • Has previous experience working with children in an educational or similar setting * Is patient, reliable and approachable * Communicates effectively and works well within a team * Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues * Is committed to supporting children's learning and wellbeing What's On Offer • Permanent position starting in September 2026 * Salary of £19,000-£23,000 depending on experience * Supportive leadership and welcoming staff team * Ongoing training and professional development opportunities * A varied and rewarding role within a positive school environment The school is looking to appoint the right candidate ahead of the new academic year and interviews will be arranged on a rolling basis.
