Job description

Electrical Assemblers Wanted! Full-time, Temporary to Permanent Employment. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:30am till 5pm Hourly Pay Rate: Starting at £13.00 We have multiple vacancies available for local candidates based in Southampton. Job Overview: Working on routine and repetitive production / manufacturing tasks, at various workstations, completing work orders to customer specifications. A lot of the time you will be working on small component parts which will require a steady hand, dexterity, and extremely good hand-eye coordination. Responsibilities • Assembling electrical components and systems. • Interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions accurately. • Conducting basic testing and troubleshooting of assembled units to ensure functionality. • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace to adhere to safety standards. • Assisting in the realisation of mechanical assemblies as required. • Ensuring all work complies with company quality and safety policies. Relevant Experience: • Proven experience in electrical assembly, or production, or manufacturing. • Proficiency with small component assembly, manual dexterity tasks etc. • Soldering and hand / power tool experience. • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. • Prior employment in a similar role that is workshop based. • Must live in the Greater Southampton area. • Able to work a full-time permanent position. • Fluent English (written and verbal).
