Electrical Design Engineer

This has resulted in an exceptionally high repeat business rate of around 85%.Following a recent strategic partnership, the consultancy has expanded its service offering to include Project Monitoring and Building Surveying, supporting continued and sustainable growth.A key differentiator is the working culture: a genuinely flexible, trust-based model where engineers predominantly work from home, with office attendance typically no more than once per week. Your new role As a Junior to Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer, you will support the delivery of electrical building services designs across a varied national project portfolio.Working closely with Senior Engineers and Directors, you will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle - from early concept design through to detailed design and construction.Projects span large-scale leisure and destination developments, as well as commercial, mixed-use and public-sector work, with a strong emphasis on long-term, repeat-client relationships.Key responsibilities: • Assist in the production of electrical building services designs • Support calculations, layouts, schematics and technical documentation • Develop knowledge of relevant British Standards and design practices • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across projects • Contribute to project delivery while developing technical capability • Build confidence in client and stakeholder interaction This role is ideal for someone looking to progress within a supportive consultancy environment with clear career development opportunities.
