Electrical Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. This is not a shift role. You'll be travelling to customer sites, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and helping keep businesses running when they need it most. You'll work across a wide range of industries including recycling, farming, printing and processing, tackling challenges on equipment such as Heidelberg presses, compactors, balers, shredders, cut-and-crease machines, automated feeding systems and extruders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Electrical Engineer - Machinery, Engineering As our Electrical Engineer, you will be: · Diagnosing and repairing electrical breakdowns on industrial machinery · Carrying out planned maintenance and servicing · Reading and interpreting electrical drawings · Fault finding on PLC-controlled systems · Working independently at customer sites · Delivering excellent customer service and representing professionally PERSON SPECIFICATION: Electrical Engineer - Machinery, Engineering We're looking for an Electrical Engineer who has experience in working in an industrial background on machinery, and someone who has: · Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills · Ability to read and work from electrical drawings · Working knowledge of PLCs · Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical systems · City & Guilds or equivalent trade qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering · Full UK driving licence THE COMPANY: Our business has grown from a one-man band specialising in print machinery, to teams who cover recycling, farming, processing and manufacturing.
