Electrical Estimator

Position: Electrical Estimator Location: Head Office Employment: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: Immediate The Role We’re seeking two experienced and motivated Electrical Estimators to join our clients expanding team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a wide range of commercial and industrial electrical projects while working closely with our operational teams to support the continued growth of the business. Key Responsibilities • Prepare detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions. • Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation. • Carry out take-offs and cost analysis. • Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations. • Identify value engineering opportunities where appropriate. • Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers throughout the tender process. • Support project handovers to the delivery teams. • Produce RAMS for handover • Maintain accurate estimating records and tender documentation. Candidate Requirements • Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator. • Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations. • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. • Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail. • Strong communication and organisational skills. • Experience using estimating software is desirable. • Full UK driving licence preferred.
