Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a heavy manufacturer to recruit an Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias) to join their established team in Kirton, Newark. Salary- £53,750 Shifts- 4 on 4 off days and nights Benefits: • 29 days holiday including Bank holidays • Up to 10% company pension • Overtime available Duties of the Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) will include: • Carry out work orders by the Planned Preventative Maintenance system • Undertake diagnostic checks in machinery breakdown • Complete timely and appropriate remedial work to return the plant to service. • Identify any spare part requirements • Diagnosing breakdown problems • Install and commission to recognised standards any new or relocated equipment within the site. We are keen to speak with Maintenance Engineers (Electrical bias) who possess the following: • Electrically qualified with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering • Ideally apprentice trained • Have experience within a manufacturing maintenance environment- ideally heavy industry • Experience with PPM’s and breakdowns • A sound working knowledge with contactors, relays, motors, starters • Ideally have experience with inverters and PLC’s but training will be given Apply now or, to discuss this Electrical Maintenance Engineer role in more detail, please contact Beth Roberts or Jake Shaw.
