Electrical Qualifying Supervisor Location: Bristol Salary: £48-55,000 + Great Benefits We are working with a well-established organisation based in Bristol to source an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join their Inspection and Testing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical professional looking to continue in a predominantly office-based Qualifying Supervisor position. The Role As Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, you will take responsibility for overseeing the quality, compliance, and certification of electrical inspection and testing work, ensuring all activity meets the requirements of BS 7671 and relevant industry standards. You will be predominantly office-based, with occasional site visits as required. Key Responsibilities • Acting as the named Qualifying Supervisor for electrical inspection and testing operations • Overseeing the quality and accuracy of EICRs, test certificates, and associated documentation • Ensuring all inspection and testing activity is carried out in compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition) and relevant codes of practice • Reviewing and signing off on inspection and testing reports produced by the team • Liaising with engineers, project teams, and clients to resolve technical queries and ensure compliance • Supporting the development and maintenance of quality processes within the inspection and testing function • Occasional site attendance as required What We're Looking For • Proven experience in electrical inspection and testing, with experience in a Qualifying Supervisor capacity • Strong working knowledge of BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) • C&G 2391 or equivalent inspection and testing qualification • COMPEX certification (current or lapsed) is a distinct advantage • Ability to manage technical and compliance responsibilities in a predominantly office-based setting • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across teams and with clients What's on Offer • Competitive salary, dependent on experience • Predominantly office-based working environment, Bristol • Opportunity to join an established and growing inspection and testing team • Occasional site exposure maintaining a varied workload Interested?
