Electrical Shift Engineer - Data CentreLocation: West London Shift Pattern: Continental Days & Nights Salary: £54,000 + Overtime & Package Are you an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer looking to join a high-availability, critical environment? We are recruiting an engineer to maintain operations at a state-of-the-art Data Centre in West London. Key Responsibilities • Maintenance & Planned Works: Receive electronic PPM instructions vand execute all mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks to strict schedules. • Fault Finding & Diagnostics: Undertake comprehensive diagnostic analysis across the site's whole electrical and infrastructure system. • Site Logs & Compliance: Maintain precise electronic and paper records, ensuring an accurate Site Logbook is kept up-to-date for client approval. • Client Engagement: Liaise directly with client representatives to address queries, maintain outstanding service delivery, and respond promptly to on-site requests. • Stock & Inventory: Monitor, manage, and replenish maintenance consumables to ensure agreed stock levels are consistently met. • Condition Inspections: Conduct visual inspections of all installed equipment and submit written reports on potential risks to system reliability. • Health & Safety: Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, actively reporting risks to ensure a zero-harm working environment. • Breakdowns & Emergencies: Respond rapidly to site breakdowns and call-out requests, keeping the client informed on progress. • Continuous Improvement: Recommend value-add opportunities to Contract Management to enhance productivity, cost-efficiency, and service quality. • Sub-Contractor Management: Supervise and report on the performance of sub-contracted works on site. What We Are Looking For • Qualifications: Fully qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 / C&G or equivalent) + 18th Edition. • Previous critical site experience - Data centers, hospitals etc Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
