Electrical Shift Engineer (Days)Location: Central London Salary: £48,000 per annum Shift Pattern: 4 On, 4 Off (Days Only) Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM About the RoleAre you a qualified Electrical Engineer looking for a stable, well-compensated day shift pattern? We are seeking a skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to join our engineering maintenance team. Key Responsibilities • Reactive & Planned Maintenance: Carry out electrical PPMs (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and attend to reactive breakdowns swiftly to minimize downtime. • Fault Finding: Diagnose and repair faults on complex electrical systems, control panels, distribution boards, and lighting/power circuits. • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to current electrical regulations (BS 7671) and strict health and safety guidelines. • Project Support: Assist with small-scale electrical installations, upgrades, and commissioning of new machinery or site infrastructure. • Callout Duties: Participate in a 1-in-4 week standby rota to provide emergency cover outside of standard shift hours. What We Are Looking For • Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or Installation (or equivalent). • Regulations: 18th Edition (BS 7671) wiring regulations certificate is highly desirable. • Experience: Proven track record working as a maintenance engineer in a commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
