Electrical Training Instructor / Assessor

Where: Kent Salary: From £35,000 per annum (DOE) Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 08:30am - 4:00pm REED FE are seeking an Electrical Training Instructor/Assessor to join a well-established training provider delivering high-quality electrical courses and assessments to adult learners. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Electrical Tutor or a qualified electrician looking to move into a teaching and assessing role. The Role of an Electrical Tutor • Deliver practical and classroom-based electrical training for adult learners • Support learners through qualifications and assessments • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback • Share industry knowledge and best practice • Create an engaging and supportive learning environment Benefits working with our client • Salary from £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience • Monday to Friday working pattern • Company pension • Free on-site parking • Supportive team environment • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities including teaching/assessing qualification • Assistance in gaining teaching and assessing qualifications if required Essential Qualifications to hold for this role • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment, or equivalent • Level 3 Award in Electrical Installation Inspection, Testing, Certification and Reporting • Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671 / 18th Edition) Skills and Experience • Strong hands-on electrical installation experience • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Positive and professional attitude • Commitment to continuous professional development • Passion for supporting learners to achieve their goals Desirable but Not Essential • Previous experience as an Electrical Tutor, Trainer or Assessor • AM2 assessment experience • PTLLS, A1 Assessor or equivalent teaching qualifications This is a rewarding opportunity to move away from the tools and into a role where you can make a genuine difference to learners starting or advancing their careers in the electrical industry.
