Electrician

The Role We’re looking for a Qualified Electrician to join our team carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and repair works across domestic and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for delivering safe, compliant and high-quality electrical work. You will work independently and as part of a wider team to ensure all works are completed to specification, on time and to current regulations. What You’ll Do • Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and repair works across domestic and commercial properties * Diagnose faults and complete remedial works efficiently and safely • Carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations where required * Work within social housing and property maintenance environments • Ensure all work is completed in line with current electrical regulations and company standards * Liaise with site teams and clients to ensure high-quality service delivery • Complete all required documentation and certification accurately * Follow all health & safety procedures on site About You You are a qualified electrician with strong experience across domestic and commercial environments. You are reliable, hardworking, and take pride in delivering safe and high-quality electrical work. Requirements • Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations • City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing – desirable * Time-served electrical experience within the contracting industry • Experience in social housing – desirable * Clean UK driving licence • Strong understanding of electrical systems in domestic and commercial settings * Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong work ethic and positive attitude * Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to undertake) What We Offer • Up to £20.50/h depending upon experience • Company van and fuel card for work purposes • 23 days’ annual leave + bank holidays • Up to £2,000 colleague referral fee • Long-service awards at key milestones • Perkbox – discounts on coffee, cinema, travel and wellbeing • 1 paid volunteer day each year Why Axis CLC Joining Axis CLC means being part of a national team delivering essential services across housing, education, healthcare, defence and commercial property.
