Electrician • PAYE: £18.85 • Umbrella Rate: £23.98 - £26.28 per hour • Location: Rochdale • Job Type: Contract Managed Property Services (MPS) is seeking an Electrician to join our reactive and planned maintenance team. This role involves providing high-quality building maintenance services to the customers of Rochdale Borough Council. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out various electrical installations and repairs efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring compliance with customer and contract requirements. Day-to-day of the role: • Carry out electrical installations and repairs within set timescales. • Ensure all work is completed with a high regard for customer care and meets high standards of workmanship. • Demonstrate efficiency and compliance with all customer and contract requirements. • Work as part of a team to provide a responsive and effective building maintenance service. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Relevant vocational qualifications such as City & Guilds Electrical Theory Parts 1 & 2, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, or equivalent. • Extensive work experience in the electrical trade. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong commitment to customer service and quality of work.
