Job description

Electrician West London | £19.21 per hour | 3 months, ongoing An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrician to join a large, forward-thinking NHS Trust delivering critical estates services across multiple hospital sites. Working within the Estates & Facilities team, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting essential electrical infrastructure across clinical and non-clinical environments. Key Responsibilities • Carry out maintenance, fault finding and installation on electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarms and nurse call systems • Work on essential infrastructure such as generators, UPS systems and standby power supplies • Diagnose and repair faults in line with BS7671 Wiring Regulations • Support PPM and reactive maintenance programmes across the estate • Contribute to installation projects and minor works • Maintain accurate records and support compliance across estates systems • Work collaboratively with multi-skilled trades teams Requirements • Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) • Experience within a complex estates environment (healthcare/public sector desirable) • Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant and equipment • Knowledge of health & safety regulations and safe systems of work • Ability to work independently and across a multi-site portfolio
