Job description

Fitter/Assembler Required! Our client is a leading UK-based manufacturer of specialist sterilisation solutions, serving a variety of professional, research, and clinical sectors worldwide. On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Fitter/Assembler. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, repairing, refurbishing, and preparing equipment. Package: • Salary £28,000 - £30,000 (DOE) • 25 days holiday + bank holidays • Company pension scheme • Early finish Fridays • Working hours Monday - Thursday 8am till 5pm and Fridays 8am till 1pm Fitter/Assembler - Responsibilities: • Actively participate in workshop activities including assembly, rework and testing of equipment • Ensure all work is completed to specification, on time, and to required quality standards • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and requirements • Maintain strict adherence to health & safety procedures across all workshop activities • Carry out quality inspections and checks • Coordinate effectively with engineering, service, and production teams to meet deadlines Fitter/Assembler - Requirements: • Time-served engineer or qualified to HNC/HND • Strong experience in mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly and build environments, including pipework assembly, brazing, and soldering • The successful candidate will be required to supply their own standard hand tools for routine daily work.
