Why apply for this Electronic Assembler role?You'll enjoy: • £28,000 - £30,000 DOE • Career progression opportunities • Friendly and supportive team • Clean working environment • On-site parking • Varied, hands-on work across electronic and mechanical assembly Key Responsibilities:You'll be responsible for: • PCB assembly, component placement, soldering and rework • Cable assembly, wiring, crimping, looming and harness assembly • Mechanical assembly using hand and power tools • Reading engineering drawings, schematics and assembly instructions • Assembling products to production schedules and quality standards • Carrying out basic inspection and testing • Maintaining production and traceability records • Reporting defects and non-conformances • Following ISO 9001 procedures and ESD requirements • Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining a safe working environment What we're looking for:We're looking for someone with: • Previous PCB, cable or mechanical assembly experience • Experience as a Solderer within electronics manufacturing • Ability to read engineering drawings and assembly documentation • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity • Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment • Understanding of quality inspection processes • Ability to work independently and within a team • Experience as a Production Operative would be advantageous • Knowledge of ISO 9001, IPC standards or ESD controls is beneficial If you're looking for your next Electronic Assembler opportunity in Waterlooville, we'd love to hear from you.
