This regional Legal 500 firm is welcoming an NQ Employment solicitor to grow its team in Luton. This is a thriving team, with a collaborative and supportive environment. You will gain exposure to a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters while working alongside experienced specialists committed to your development.

The Opportunity
You'll work on a varied caseload for both business and individual clients, supporting senior lawyers while gradually developing your own files. This is a fantastic opportunity to strengthen your technical expertise and gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of employment law.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims from instruction through to resolution
• Drafting legal documents, including witness statements, pleadings and settlement agreements
• Carrying out legal research and preparing practical, commercially focused advice
• Managing your own caseload with increasing autonomy as your experience develops
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting business development and networking initiatives within the team
About You
• Newly Qualified Solicitor (or due to qualify shortly)
• Completed a seat in Employment Law or gained relevant employment law experience
• Excellent communication and drafting skills
• Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
• Ambitious and eager to develop within a respected Employment team
