End of Life Care Healthcare Assistant

Role: End of Life Care Healthcare Assistant (Band 2) Hours: 22:00pm - 07:00am night shift Contract: Part-Time Permanent (18, 27 or 36-hour contracts available) Salary: Band 2 £25,272 pro rata per annum (aligned with AFC) + enhancements and Marie Curie employee benefits package Locations: Central, West, North and East Cornwall (You will work within a 25-mile radius from your home address) What we're looking for: • National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 in Health and Social Care OR an equivalent • 6 Months care delivery experience (current) in a Health or Social Care Environment. • Hold a current and valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle which includes business insurance • Knowledge of palliative and end of life care. • Hold person centred conversations, Communicate sensitively with the person and those important to them in a nonjudgmental, empathetic, supportive, and professional manner. • Participate in the assessment, care planning, review and evaluation of holistic care management plans within the multidisciplinary team. • Undertake risk assessments to support safe delivery of care.
