Endoscopy Health Care Assistant

Xyla is seeking Healthcare Assistants to support a busy Endoscopy Service in partnership with Portsmouth NHS Trust. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout the endoscopy pathway. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and admit patients for procedures. • Record baseline observations and check paperwork. • Support patient comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. • Assist nurses and clinicians during procedures. • Escort patients to and from procedure and recovery areas. • Support patients in recovery and provide basic care. • Maintain clean clinical areas and stock supplies. Requirements • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a clinical setting. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • A patient-focused approach and commitment to high-quality care. • Endoscopy experience is required.
