Endoscopy Nurse Job Description (Advertisement) We are currently seeking experienced Endoscopy Nurses to join a dynamic clinical team supporting high-volume endoscopy services. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a service focused on delivering timely, high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities • Carry out pre-procedure assessments and confirm patient consent • Prepare patients for procedures, including observations, cannulation, and reassurance • Administer and monitor sedation safely • Assist the endoscopist during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures • Manage and prepare endoscopy equipment throughout procedures • Support with biopsy collection and accurate labelling of samples • Continuously monitor and record patient vital signs • Provide post-procedure care, recovery monitoring, and aftercare advice • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records Requirements • Registered Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration • Experience working within an endoscopy setting • Competent in patient assessment, sedation, and recovery care • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Commitment to high standards of patient safety and care What We Offer • Competitive daily rates • Opportunity to work within an established NHS service • Supportive and collaborative team environment • Ongoing contract with consistent work availability Join a dedicated team helping to reduce patient waiting times and improve access to essential diagnostic services.
