Engineering Administrator – ManufacturingLocation: Verwood, Dorset Salary: Up to £28,000 depending on experience Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm | Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm Looking for more than just another admin job?If you've worked in an engineering or manufacturing environment and enjoy being organised, working with technical information and keeping things running smoothly, this could be the opportunity you're looking for. We're recruiting for an Engineering Administrator to join a well-established manufacturing business. You'll become a key part of the Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Commercial teams, supporting the business from customer order through to production. This is a varied role where accuracy, organisation and attention to detail really matter. What you'll be doing • Supporting the Engineering and Quality teams with day-to-day administration. • Processing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and supplier documentation. • Maintaining engineering drawings, specifications and controlled documents. • Supporting contract reviews and works order administration. • Updating Approved Supplier Lists and supplier records. • Processing customer orders using the MRP system. • Maintaining pricing and product data. • Providing quotation support when required. • Working closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Commercial teams. What we're looking forYou'll already have administration experience within an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable working with technical documents, production information and engineering data. You'll also have: • Previous engineering or manufacturing administration experience. • Experience using an ERP or MRP system. • Excellent attention to detail. • Strong organisational skills. • Good Microsoft Office skills. • Confident communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude. Experience working within an AS9100 or ISO9001 environment would be an advantage but isn't essential.
