This is a temporary opportunity offering flexibility and the chance to make a real impact on learners across a variety of English programmes. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective lessons, supporting students in developing their knowledge, skills, and confidence while helping them achieve their academic goals. Key Responsibilities • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons. • Teach English programmes to learners across a range of levels and abilities. • Assess, monitor, and track student progress. • Provide constructive feedback and academic support to learners. • Maintain accurate records in line with college requirements. • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment. • Provide tutorial and pastoral support where required. • Contribute to learner achievement, retention, and progression. Requirements • Relevant degree or qualification in English or a related subject. • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent). • Experience teaching English within Further Education, Secondary Education, or Adult Learning environments. • Strong classroom management and communication skills. • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one. • Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities.
