About the Role: Prospero Teaching is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Secondary English Teacher to join a secondary school in the Liverpool area. As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic educator to inspire and nurture students. Secondary English Teacher Location: Liverpool Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Temporary, long term Working Hours: Full-time, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Pay: Paid to scale Key Responsibilities: • Planning and delivering lessons: Creating engaging lesson plans that cover reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. • Assessing student progress: Evaluating homework, exams, and classroom participation to track improvement. • Building relationships: Establishing trust with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive learning environment. • Encouraging communication skills: Helping students develop confidence in expressing themselves through discussions, presentations, and writing exercises. • Providing feedback: Offering constructive criticism to help students refine their language skills. • Adapting teaching methods: Using different strategies to accommodate various learning styles and needs.
