With continued investment in technology, equipment and people, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team through the addition of a Estimator to help support future growth. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing customer enquiries and RFQs, developing manufacturing strategies and producing accurate cost estimates for a wide range of machining projects. You will utilise CAD/CAM software to assess manufacturing methods, tooling requirements, machining times and material usage, ensuring commercially competitive and profitable quotations. Alongside estimating duties, you will also support programming improvements, process development and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong machining background who is looking to move into a commercially focused engineering role whilst remaining heavily involved in technical decision-making and manufacturing strategy.
