Why apply for this Events Supervisor role?You'll enjoy: • From £15.00 per hour, depending on experience • Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30 working pattern • Some flexibility required for occasional Saturdays • Weekly pay • Supportive and welcoming team environment • Excellent career progression opportunities • Ongoing position with the potential to become permanent Key Responsibilities:You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of Meeting and Events by: • Motivating, training, and supervising event coordinators and sales staff • Managing inbound enquiries, preparing quotations, upselling services, and analysing booking data • Coordinating dietary requirements, floor plans, rooming lists, and all pre-event information • Working closely with Food & Beverage, Front Desk, and Banqueting teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences • Supporting the successful operation of a busy Hotel events department What we're looking for:To succeed as an Events Supervisor, you'll have: • Previous experience within hotel or hospitality event coordination at Supervisor or Management level • Experience using hospitality management systems such as PMS or CRM software (Guestline or Reslynx would be advantageous) • Excellent organisational, communication, and negotiation skills • Immediate availability with no notice period or pre-booked holidays If you're looking for your next Events Supervisor opportunity in Birmingham, we'd love to hear from you.
