The main responsibilities of the post: • The role of the Health Care Assistant is to work within their scope of practice, without direct supervision in partnership with a Registered Nurse. The HCA will provide and deliver a high standard of patient care. • The HCA will safely undertake the procedures including; Phlebotomy, NHS health checks, wound care and various LTC checks and reviews. • The HCA will be expected to carry out planned care to our patients. • The successful applicant must be flexible, a good team worker, used to working under pressure, have excellent interpersonal and IT skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients and the team.
