Duties include: • Dressings and wound care to include suture removal. • Administer IM injection and vaccinations under PGDs. • Cervical smear tests (training available). • Monitor and manage long term conditions, providing education and support to patients. • Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans. • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with confidentiality regulations. • Provide health education to patients and their families regarding disease prevention and health promotion. • Monitor stock levels and support with ordering. • Ensure the practice environment is clean, safe, and well-organised. • Keeping patient records up to date; • Checking a patients temperature, pulse and blood pressure correctly; • Working alongside and communicating regularly with practice GPs, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
