Job description

Our client Wirral MBC is looking for an Experienced Social worker to join their Adults safeguarding team. • Leading and coordinating safeguarding enquiries under the Care Act 2014 and triaging new concerns as part of the Duty Rota. • Managing a diverse and complex caseload with autonomy and professional judgement. • Undertaking strengths-based assessments and developing outcome-focused support plans. • Completing Mental Capacity Assessments when required. • Undertaking Making Safeguarding Personal Conversations that shape risk planning and outcomes. • Working collaboratively with health partners, police, care providers, and voluntary organisations • Applying legislation, policy, and best practice to protect adults from harm or abuse. • Providing professional advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies. What We're Looking For • Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered). • Strong experience in adult safeguarding or similar statutory adult services. • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills. • Confidence in managing risk and making evidence-based decisions. • Ability to work flexibly, proactively, and as part of a supportive team.'
