Data Engineer - Microsoft Fabric - London (Hybrid) - Up to £65,000This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established international organisation operating across multiple countries and delivering over 1 million services annually. The business is well into a major data transformation programme, with Microsoft Fabric at the heart of its modern data platform and continued migration away from legacy systems. With ongoing investment across Microsoft Fabric, Dynamics 365 (CRM) and automation, this role offers an opportunity to help shape how data is engineered, managed and leveraged across the organisation. You'll be joining at a pivotal stage, working in a Fabric-first environment while still contributing to the modernisation and improvement of remaining legacy data systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on Data Engineer who values business context and wants to play a key role in transforming CRM data into meaningful, practical insight. What you'll be working with • Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouses, Pipelines, Notebooks) in a live production environment • Building and enhancing Data Factory pipelines as part of the ongoing migration into Fabric • PySpark for data transformation and engineering within Fabric notebooks • SQL for querying and implementing transformation logic within Fabric • Dynamics 365 / Dataverse data, supporting integration, modelling, and optimisation • Close collaboration with business stakeholders to understand data usage, identify gaps and deliver effective solutions • Pipeline optimisation, data quality improvements, and automation initiatives Benefits • Salary up to £65,000 • Hybrid working - just 1 day per week in the London office • Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Fabric within a business actively investing in its data platform • Opportunity to influence how CRM data supports wider business outcomes • Involvement in automation and continuous improvement initiatives • Ongoing training and development within the Microsoft data ecosystem • Supportive, collaborative data team with real influence Key experience required • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and data transformations • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric • Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines (Data Factory / Fabric Pipelines) • PySpark experience for data engineering and transformation • Exposure to CRM data, with an understanding of how it underpins business processes • Ability to engage with stakeholders, identify data gaps, and translate requirements into practical solutions • Comfortable working in environments that combine modern platforms with legacy systems Apply nowInterviews are already underway, so early application is recommended.
