Job description

Time Appointments are delighted to be working on behalf of a market-leading organisation in their search for a Facilities & Health & Safety Administrator to join their team based in Ipswich on a 6-month fixed-term contract. They are seeking a highly organised individual who thrives in a busy environment and can manage fluctuating workloads with a positive, flexible approach. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and proactive administrator to support both the Facilities and Health & Safety departments by providing effective and efficient administrative support. The Role Reporting to the Health & Safety/Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in providing hands-on support across a variety of administrative and coordination tasks, including: • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance requirements are met • Assisting with planned and unplanned works, liaising with contractors and suppliers • Providing reception and switchboard cover when required • Supporting the Health & Safety and ISO teams with document management, updates, and training administration • Managing safety equipment registers and purchasing • Providing inductions and safety support for visitors and contractors on site The Ideal Candidate: • Strong administrative experience, ideally within a facilities, Health & Safety, or similar environment. • Excellent IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office and database systems • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a confident telephone manner • A proactive, team-oriented, and problem-solving attitude • The ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines under pressure
