We are looking for a Facilities Service Assistant to join our Community Hospital team, we have 2 positions available for 20 hours per week. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will help support patient care by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and hospitality throughout our hospital environment. Working as part of our Facilities Team, you will carry out a range of duties that may include cleaning, housekeeping, catering and portering activities, helping to ensure patients, visitors and staff have a safe and comfortable environment every day. /*generated inline style */ Main duties, tasks & skills required Key responsibilities include: Cleaning patient areas, bathrooms, offices, kitchens and communal spaces to Trust standards. Supporting ward housekeeping services, including refreshments and meal service. Assisting with catering duties and food preparation where required. Handling linen, waste and stock safely and effectively. Completing monitoring records and maintaining accurate documentation. Operating cleaning equipment and reporting faults when identified. Supporting infection prevention and control standards. Working closely with ward staff, patients, visitors and colleagues across the hospital. Responding positively and flexibly to the needs of the service.
