Factory Hand

Our client in Southampton is seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Hand to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Working Hours • Monday to Friday - potential for some weekend working • 8:00am - 4:00pm - some earlier shifts also available Key Responsibilities • Safely move and handle 60-70kg sacks. • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries. • Support palletising and goods-in processes. • Operate pallet trucks to move stock and materials. • Assist machine operators with stock movement and general production support. • Maintain a clean and organised production area, including sweeping, waste disposal and general housekeeping duties. • Work effectively within a small team and follow instructions accurately. • Adhere to all health and safety procedures. Requirements • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting. • Previous experience within a warehouse, factory or production environment. • Good understanding of safe manual handling practices. • Strong attendance and punctuality record. • Positive attitude with a flexible approach to work. • Forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
