Field Technician

Field Technician Up to £35k 1 year fixed term contract We are looking to fill a contract position for a field technician to travel to clients site to carry out product inspections, repairs and services. The territory is the East Midlands. Some of the accounts are based in Leicester, Warwick, Cambridge, Luton, Reading, Oxford, Watford, and North London (2 accounts). Providing you live close to any of these areas in the patch your application can be considered. A driving licence is essential, however a car will be provided by the company to use to travel to sites. You will need previous experience in a similar field technician type of role, it doesn't need to be industry specific as training will be provided at the office in Slough before you are out on location. You need to have good IT and communication skills as you will be planning and managing your own appointments and calling/emailing customers. Duties include: • Responsible for the delivery of technical account management to include on-site service, damage prevention and KPI review to identify best practice routine equipment handling to customers through coaching, education and training activities. • Create improvement plans for the best customer service • Deliver technical support for installing and servicing products • Identifying potential issues with products and ensuring a smooth service • Answering customer queries and questions • Liaising with customers face to face, via email and via phone.
