Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant - Part Time Deeside £30,000 - £35,000 (Full Time Equivalent) We’re looking for a driven and detail-focused Finance Assistant to join our client, a well-renowned specialist wholesale business in Deeside. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a varied role which will see you dealing with sales ledger and purchase ledger, preparing accounts, and VAT returns. You’ll play a key role in supporting the finance function, working closely with the Finance Controller to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations. This is a Part Time opportunity with the hours initially set as 9:00am – 2:00pm, 4 days per week. Duties & Responsibilities Processing and managing invoices within the purchase ledger and sales ledger (Accounts Payable) Chasing approvals and resolving invoice queries Supporting costing and financial tracking Producing and analysing reports using Assisting with financial reporting Ensuring accurate and timely financial data management Skills: AAT Qualification is desirable but not essential Some experience in finance (e.g. accounts payable / purchase ledger / sales ledger) interest in building a finance career Good attention to detail and organisational skills A proactive and positive approach For more information of this position please contact Curtis Reid at Clark Wood
