Job description

KennedyPearce are hiring a strategic Commercial Finance Business Partner to act as the trusted finance advisor to senior leadership, driving commercial performance, profitability, and data-led decision making. This role partners closely with executive stakeholders across Revenue and Digital functions, providing financial insight, commercial challenge, and strategic support to enable sustainable growth. Working 2-3 days in the London office with a generous pension and bonus on offer. Key Responsibilities • Act as the lead commercial finance partner for senior stakeholders across Revenue and Digital functions. • Provide financial insight, performance analysis, and commercial recommendations to improve profitability and margins. • Support business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly business reviews. • Develop and monitor KPIs, pricing strategies, and revenue quality metrics. • Evaluate growth initiatives, investment cases, and AI programmes to ensure strong commercial returns. • Drive adoption of AI and data-driven ways of working to improve efficiency and decision making. • Collaborate with FP&A and wider finance teams to deliver high-quality reporting and financial planning. • Influence stakeholders to improve commercial performance and support strategic decision making. • Deliver commercial finance training and promote best practice across the business. • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting, and operational efficiency. About You • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). • 10+ years' experience in commercial finance or finance business partnering. • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of improving profitability and supporting strategic decisions. • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. • Experience partnering with senior commercial or sales leaders. • Confident using AI-enabled tools (such as Microsoft Copilot) to improve insight and productivity. • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Tagetik is desirable. • Professional Services experience is preferred.
