The Opportunity We're working with an established and growing organisation to recruit a Finance & ERP Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration skills and an interest in finance and business systems to join a supportive team in a varied role offering genuine development. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll play an important role in ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately, ERP data is maintained, and day-to-day business operations run smoothly. Key Responsibilities Finance Administration • Raise and process purchase orders across multiple departments. • Monitor purchase requisitions and ensure timely approval and conversion to purchase orders. • Process, upload and validate supplier invoices. • Match invoices against purchase orders and receipts, investigating discrepancies where required. • Support supplier account administration and resolve invoice queries. • Maintain accurate financial records and purchasing documentation. • Assist with month-end finance administration and reporting activities. ERP System Administration • Maintain accurate supplier, purchasing and transactional data within the ERP system. • Create and update supplier and product records. • Support colleagues with ERP-related queries and system processes. • Produce standard reports to support operational and financial decision-making. • Carry out regular data integrity checks to ensure information remains accurate. • Assist with testing and implementing system and process improvements. • Act as a key user for day-to-day ERP transactions. Purchasing & Supplier Administration • Coordinate purchasing activities across the business. • Process orders for business supplies and operational requirements. • Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries, invoices and account queries. • Coordinate courier and shipment bookings where required. • Verify supplier invoices and supporting documentation before payment approval. • Help ensure purchasing activities are completed efficiently and in line with company procedures. Document Control & Business Records • Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems. • Archive business documentation in accordance with company procedures. • Ensure finance and operational records are organised, secure and easily accessible. • Support document management and compliance activities. Office & Business Support • Monitor shared administration inboxes and direct enquiries appropriately. • Coordinate meeting room bookings and hospitality arrangements. • Arrange refreshments and support internal meetings. • Maintain office stationery and consumable stock levels. • Coordinate incoming and outgoing post and courier deliveries. • Provide general administrative support to finance and the wider business as required. About You We're looking for someone who: • Has previous administration experience, ideally within finance, accounts or business support. • Has excellent attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy. • Is confident using Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. • Can manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines. • Has strong organisational and communication skills. • Enjoys learning new systems and technology. • Has experience of ERP systems or purchase ledger processes (desirable but not essential). • Takes a proactive approach and enjoys finding more efficient ways of working.
