Finance Manager

Our client is a large, well-established service-based organisation with a strong reputation in its sector. They are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to support the Finance Director and lead a small transactional finance team from their Castleford head office. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or an experienced Qualified by Experience (QBE) finance professional who enjoys variety, team management responsibility and working closely with the wider business. The Role Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting while supporting and developing the transactional finance team. Your responsibilities will include: • Producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts • Supporting the Finance Director with financial reporting and business analysis • Managing and mentoring the transactional finance team • Overseeing payroll processes and resolving payroll-related queries • Managing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements • Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining robust financial controls • Acting as a key point of contact for finance queries across the business If you are interested in this Finance Manager opportunity or would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact Richard Warwick at IPS Finance.
