Finance Manager

You'll take ownership of the entire function, working closely with senior leaders to ensure the business has the financial controls, reporting and insight needed to support continued growth. This is a hands-on position where you'll be trusted to manage the day-to-day operation while identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes. What's in it for you • Salary of £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience • 25 days' annual leave plus your birthday off • Full ownership of a standalone function with genuine autonomy • Opportunity to influence financial processes within a growing technology business • Work closely with the leadership team and contribute to business decisions • Join a business with an expanding UK and international customer base Your responsibilities as Finance Manager • Oversee the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate financial operations • Manage sales and purchase ledgers, invoicing and credit control activities • Complete bank reconciliations, VAT returns and cash flow management • Process monthly payroll, overtime, expenses and employee benefits • Support month-end reporting while maintaining accurate financial records • Manage finance systems, strengthen financial controls and drive process improvements What we're looking for in a Finance Manager • Previous responsibility for managing a finance function within an SME environment • Strong knowledge of VAT, payroll, reconciliations and credit control • Experience using systems such as NetSuite and/or Xero • AAT Level 4, CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified, studying towards qualification, or qualified by experience • Ability to manage a varied workload independently while maintaining accurate financial records Working hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, Office Based.
