Are you a commercially minded Finance Manager looking for a role where you can genuinely influence business performance rather than simply report on it? We're partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing business in South Wales that is investing heavily in its people, systems and operations. This is an opportunity to join an ambitious organisation with a strong market position, a collaborative culture and a leadership team that values finance as a key driver of business success. Working closely with the Financial Controller and senior operational leaders, you'll take ownership of the month-end process, lead financial reporting and analysis, and act as a true business partner across operations, procurement and commercial teams. You will be required to visit the other sites also periodically and manage a small team of Management Accountants The Role You'll be responsible for: • Leading and managing the month-end close process • Producing insightful management accounts and presenting key financial trends and variances • Driving budgeting and forecasting activities • Partnering with operational teams to understand cost drivers and improve performance • Analysing manufacturing costs and identifying opportunities for efficiencies and savings • Supporting strategic decision making through robust financial analysis • Maintaining strong financial controls across inventory and cost allocation • Supporting annual audit processes and continuous improvement initiatives • Leading and developing a small finance team About You We're looking for an individual who combines strong technical accounting ability with commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills.
