Job description

Robert Half is exclusively partnering with an entrepreneurial real estate investment firm to recruit a commercially minded, hands-on Finance Manager. Due to the confidential nature of this appointment, shortlisted candidates will be required to sign an NDA before details of the business can be shared. This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, working directly with the Principal (Owner) and acting as a trusted finance partner across a diverse portfolio of property investments, corporate entities and personal affairs. Based near Green Park, London, this role requires five days per week in the office. The Opportunity This is a broad and highly visible standalone finance position, suited to someone who enjoys ownership, variety and exposure to strategic decision-making. Offering broad responsibility across the family's corporate entities, property investments and personal affairs. Working closely with the Principals and senior advisers, you will play a key role in providing financial insight, improving internal processes and supporting major development projects. Act as the key liaison between all external stakeholders, including contractors, asset managers, managing agents, estate agents, lawyers, architects, and construction professionals. Serve as the finance representative, coordinating across all parties to ensure effective communication, alignment, and delivery of projects. Responsibilities: • Produce monthly management accounts and financial reporting • Monitor cash flow and prepare rolling 12-24-month cash flow forecasts. • Develop financial models to support investment, development and funding decisions. • Prepare budgets and monitor performance against forecasts. • Work closely with the outsourced accounting firm on coordinating statutory reporting, tax compliance and bookkeeping. • Support the financial management of a commercial property portfolio and large-scale development projects. • Monitor development expenditure and capital investment (CAPEX), ensuring appropriate controls and reporting are in place. • Monitor day-to-day expenditure and identify opportunities for improved financial efficiency. • Provide financial information and commercial insight to the Principals and wider team. About You • Experience within property, real estate, family office or investment environments. (Essential) • Strong financial modelling and cash flow forecasting skills. • Experience supporting property development or capital projects. • Commercial awareness with the confidence to challenge processes and improve financial controls. • The ability to work independently in a standalone finance role. • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work alongside senior executives, external advisers and family members.
